Terms of use
Use RivetField thoughtfully.
RivetField is operated by Fog & Iron Labs LLC. You are responsible for the accuracy of your customer records, estimates, job schedules, invoices, and any communication you send through the service.
Service ownership and license
RivetField and its software, design, branding, and documentation are owned by Fog & Iron Labs LLC or its licensors, excluding your content. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive right to use RivetField as intended while your access is authorized. Third-party and open-source components remain governed by their applicable licenses.
Your content
You retain the rights you hold in customer records, estimates, job information, invoices, photos, videos, and other content you provide. You grant RivetField a limited license to host and process that content only as needed to provide, secure, and support the service.
AI drafting
AI-assisted text is a draft, not professional, legal, tax, pricing, or trade advice. Review and correct it before using it with a customer. Do not rely on it for permits, codes, safety decisions, measurements, or guarantees.
Payments and delivery
This limited, free beta does not include subscription billing or online invoice payments. Other features may be introduced only after their configuration, testing, and applicable business requirements are complete.
Founding beta offer
Applying for the founding beta does not reserve a place. If Fog & Iron Labs selects your business, you may use the current free beta and receive the first three months of RivetField Pro at no charge after subscription billing launches. No payment method is collected with the application, selection does not start a paid subscription, and continuing after the free period requires your separate choice after you receive the then-current price and terms. The offer is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
Work-media exchange
If a business enables a private work-media exchange for a job, use it only for job-related photos and videos. Business owners are responsible for reviewing customer submissions before sharing them and for using appropriate retention and deletion practices. RivetField may limit, reject, or remove files that do not meet its safety or technical requirements.
Agreements and electronic signatures
RivetField can deliver an agreement revision and record a recipient's electronic signature and consent. Business owners are responsible for confirming the recipient, using appropriate and attorney-reviewed terms, and deciding whether electronic signatures satisfy their legal and business requirements. RivetField preserves the revision and signing record but does not provide legal advice, identity verification, notarization, or a guarantee that an agreement is enforceable in every situation.
