Lead
Record the request and the next action.
Product guide · about 4 minutes
Watch the short tour, then follow the six steps below to run your first RivetField job with confidence.
What RivetField does
RivetField keeps the records around field work connected, so a customer request can become an estimate, job, inspection, signed agreement, and invoice without rebuilding the same information in separate tools.
Built for independent home-service businesses and small field teams.
Watch
The examples in this video are fictional and contain no customer information.
RivetField gives small field-service businesses one connected place to move work forward. Start by adding the customer and recording the request as a lead. Build an estimate with your own labor, materials, and pricing, then share a secure quote link for a decision. When the quote is accepted, create the job and keep the schedule, site, and scope together.
Use inspection checklists to create a repeatable standard. Add private work photos when you need proof of condition or completion. Create the agreement, send the private signing link, and keep the electronic signature with the job. When the work is complete, create the invoice and share its secure link. AI can help draft an estimate, but you remain responsible for reviewing the scope and every number before it goes to a customer.
That is RivetField: lead, estimate, job, proof, agreement, and invoice, connected from start to finish. The live beta is free, and online payments remain off while payment testing continues separately.
The connected workflow
Record the request and the next action.
Build the scope and share a secure quote.
Schedule accepted work and keep it moving.
Use inspections, checklists, photos, and portfolios.
Send the contract for an electronic signature.
Create the final business record for the work.
Step by step
Each record builds on the one before it. You can return to this guide from the workspace at any time.
Start in Settings. Add the business name and contact details you want customers to see. You can also add a passkey for quick, secure sign-in.
Create the customer first, then record the request as a lead. Keep the description practical: what they need, where the work is, and what should happen next.
Turn the lead into an estimate, add labor and materials, and review every number. Send the secure quote link when it is ready for the customer to accept or decline.
Create the job after approval. For repeat locations, add a portfolio and site. Use inspection checklists and private work media to document the condition and completed work.
Create a contract from your approved scope. RivetField gives the customer a private signing link, records their signature, and keeps the signed agreement with the job.
Create the invoice from the completed work and share its secure link. Online payments stay off during the free live beta, so record payment through your current process.
First-day checklist
Use a clearly labeled practice customer and your own email address. That lets you see both sides of the workflow without involving a real customer.
Add your business details in Settings.
Create “RivetField Practice Customer” with your own email.
Build a small sample estimate and open its secure quote link.
Create the job, inspection, contract, and invoice.
Delete or clearly retain the practice records when finished.
AI estimates
Check the scope, quantities, rates, taxes, and final price yourself before sharing anything with a customer.
Private links
Quote, agreement, invoice, and work-media links provide access to a specific customer record.
Beta records
RivetField is beta software. Keep your normal backup and record-retention process while testing.
